This steel instrument is used to measure the depth of holes/settings. Features a graduated rule with a sliding head. Place the flat base on the work surface and adjust the rule to touch the bottom of the recess and lock with screw. Pull-up the gauge to read the measurements. Can also be used for angular measurements.
