Great for picking up small stones/beads. Can also be used for coating beading cords to prevent fraying & for coating jewelers sawblades. This natural wax leaves a film onto which a design can be transferred, when rubbed on a surface. Also acts as a lubricant when drawing wire through a drawplate. Crude beeswax is less oily and easier to clean than refined beeswax products thereby leaving less residue
